About Humbel Gear Technology
Humbel Gear Technology is a fourth-generation Swiss family company specialising in the development and production of customised gearing solutions – from individual gears to complete gearboxes. The value chain covers engineering, prototyping and testing, machining of gear components, assembly of drive systems, as well as gearbox overhauls and repairs. With more than 400 employees, the Humbel Group serves industries such as rail transport, aerospace, motorsport, defence, general mechanical engineering, and automation and robotics – customers include Porsche Motorsport, Stadler Bussnang AG and Netstal Maschinen. The headquarters and special centre for gear technology are located in Kradolf, Switzerland; the group's largest production plant is Novogear in Frýdek-Místek (Czech Republic), producing gearbox components and assembling drive systems. HPT Humbel Produktionstechnik in Sebeș (Romania) manufactures small to medium-sized gears and expands the group's capacities.
