About us
Husmann Umwelt-Technik GmbH is an owner-managed family company based in Dörpen (Lower Saxony) and has been manufacturing machines and systems for the waste management industry since 1953. The product range includes press containers, waste compactors, stationary presses, press containers, transfer stations, roller compactors, bulk material compactors and push-floor systems, which are individually engineered to customer requirements. Manufacturing takes place as a certified welding shop from quality steel and round-rolled steel sheet: CNC flame-cutting and laser-cutting machines, CNC roll bending and press brake machines and automatic blasting systems are followed by welding with high-performance welding robots, the standard two-coat painting in a large paint hall, and final assembly with quality control. With more than 350 employees at five German sites with a total of over 60,000 m² of production space, Husmann is represented with dealers and projects in over 40 countries. Customers include waste management companies such as APM Abfallwirtschaft Potsdam-Mittelmark GmbH and FES Frankfurt.

Materials and processes
Quality steel
Base material for all machines, presses and containers; suppliers are selected according to strict criteria.
Round-rolled steel sheet
Basis of the side wall and roof construction of the PM-E press containers, continuously welded with reinforcing profiles.
Galvanized steel
Used, for example, for ratchet locks and transport trolleys of push-floor systems.
