About HUSSMANN Profilrollen
HUSSMANN Profilrollen is a family business from Fröndenberg, run since 1945 and now in its third generation, specializing in the development and manufacture of profile rolls (roll-forming tools) for roll forming. Production begins with the import of the customer's drawing formats; common cold work and PM steels are supplied directly from the automated storage tower. In a continuous production chain, the rolls are sawn, CNC-milled, CNC-turned and ground, before each product undergoes standardized measurement with data M roll scanners as well as concentricity, roughness and hardness testing. Customers are companies in the cold rolling and sheet metal processing industry operating throughout Europe. The headquarters in Fröndenberg comprises around 1,800 m² of office, warehouse and production space (as of 2007).

Quality
Every roll delivered undergoes a standardized measurement with data M roll scanners as well as concentricity, roughness and hardness tests. Only when the data matches exactly the requirements documented in the order does the roll leave the premises.

History
- 1945
Heinrich Hussmann founds the family business 'Dreherei und Schlosserei Hussmann' and produces with a single lathe in the laundry room of his parents' house.
- 1949
Initially manufacturing forming tools such as forging dies for the chain industry, with increasing specialization in profile rolls for the surrounding cold rolling industry.
- 1960
Production with seven lathes, a saw, a planing machine and four grinding blocks on 80 square metres behind the residential house.
- 1968
Occupation of the new 450 square metre production hall at today's location.
- 1980
The first computers arrive and revolutionize the work with the machine tools.
- 1988
Company management passes from founder Heinrich Hussmann to his son Hermann Hussmann.
- 2001
Extension of the existing hall to meet the growing demand for profile rolls.
- 2007
Acquisition of the neighbouring property; expansion of office, warehouse and production space to 1,800 sqm.
- 2014
