About Husumer Kunststofftechnik
Husumer Kunststofftechnik is an owner-managed company founded in 1970 in Husum (Schleswig-Holstein), specialising in the contract manufacturing of glass-fibre reinforced polyester products (GRP) for industry and trade. Production is carried out using the hand lay-up process and the spray-up process, producing among other things battery and fire extinguisher boxes, waste containers and customer-specific polyester finished parts. Another focus is the coating of construction objects such as balconies, dormers, flat and garage roofs, swimming pools, van loading areas and refrigerated rooms of fishing cutters, carried out with polyester and epoxy resin systems. In addition, the company performs repairs to GRP parts, for example on horse trailers and caravans. The company also operates a retail store with stainless steel products (screws, steel cables, chains, fittings), PVC sheets, synthetic resins, paints, varnishes and boat accessories. Customers come from the industry and trade, boat building and shipping as well as construction sectors; the delivery area is the northern Germany region.
