Hygienic wall, ceiling and door systems made of GRP and Glasbord® for hygiene-critical areas

Hydewa GmbH
Weidenberg (Bavaria)New on Amplifa
System developer for hygienic GRP solutions
Hydewa GmbH, based in Weidenberg (Bavaria), develops and supplies hygienic ceiling and wall systems made of glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP), in particular Glasbord® with Surfaseal surface sealing from the US manufacturer Crane Composites (now Valto). The portfolio includes sheets for direct adhesive bonding, sandwich panels with cores made of EPS, PIR rigid foam, polypropylene honeycomb panels or mineral wool, self-adhesive Glasbond® sheets, the impact protection system Hydewa Protect® with an epoxy resin core, GRP insert tiles for suspended ceiling systems, decor panels (Designs & Varietex), adhesives and sealants, moldings and profiles, as well as industrial doors with partner ARM DOORS. Sandwich panels are manufactured in production lengths up to 12 m and a standard panel width of 1190 mm. Core applications are cheese and dairy production, meat and fish processing, bakeries, commercial kitchens, breweries, cleanrooms and laboratories, as well as sanitary areas and livestock barn construction. To date, according to the company, more than 4.5 million square meters of Glasbord® have been processed. Hydewa supports customers with customized hygiene concepts, tender documents and a network of national and international installation partners; delivery takes place throughout Europe.

Standard GRP, unfinished
Cost-effective GRP sheet variant without surface finishing for hygienic areas with standard requirements.
Standard GRP, gelcoat-coated
Gelcoat-sealed surface for increased chemical resistance.
Polystyrene (EPS)
Insulating core for sandwich and renovation panels in cooling and partition wall applications.
Polyisocyanurate rigid foam (PIR)
Rigid foam core for sandwich panels with higher insulation and fire protection requirements.
Polypropylene honeycomb panel with PET fleece
Honeycomb core for lightweight, impact-resistant, dimensionally stable panels in wet rooms and wash systems.
Mineral wool
Core material for fire-classified sandwich panels.
Epoxy resin mortar (Hydewa Protect®)
Core of the repairable impact protection system with a Glasbord® surface.
Steel (RP panel)
Steel cover layers on both sides for walkable ceilings and partition walls.
Stainless steel
1.5 mm welded door frames of the industrial doors.
