About Hydro-Future
Hydro Future GmbH, based in Munich, is the general representative of the Bulgarian manufacturer Hydrogenera, which has been developing and producing hydrogen technologies since 2016. The company analyses, plans, installs and maintains hydrogen plants and supports customers in developing and utilising hydrogen fields with green electricity. The focus is on alkaline electrolysers: the 1 MW Z series (210 m³/hr, 456 kg/day, H2 purity up to 99.999%), the E series for on-site production of hydrogen and oxygen, and the modular AEM Z system with an efficiency of over 85%. The value chain covers generation, compression (metal hydride technology), storage, feed-in to gas grids, transport and distribution. Fields of application include industry, power and heating, greenhouses, agriculture, transport, refuelling stations and storage. Hydrogenera has implemented over 90 projects and, since 2021, has also realised international projects in the EU and Asia.

Hydrogen and Processes
Alkaline Electrolyser Z Series (1 MW)
Large-scale hydrogen production with 210 m³/hr, 456 kg/day and H2 purity up to 99.999% at 0.45 bar operating pressure.
Alkaline Electrolyser E Series
On-site production of hydrogen and oxygen to reduce transport and storage requirements, with up to 30% relative efficiency increase when fed into combustion processes.
AEM Z Electrolysis Module
Atmospheric alkaline module with power consumption of up to 6 kW/h, dynamic load operation (0–100%) and 99.999% H2 purity.
Metal Hydride Technology
Technology in use since 2022 for hydrogen storage and compression; a metal hydride hydrogen compressor is under design.
