Hydrosnow GmbH is a plant engineering company founded in 2010 in St. Barbara im Mürztal (Styria) and specializes in hydraulic and electrical systems. The company with 25 employees plans, manufactures, installs and maintains pump stations and snow-making systems for ski resorts, industrial compressor stations, and piping systems for drinking and wastewater supply for municipalities and water suppliers. As a general contractor, Hydrosnow also builds small hydroelectric power plants including turbines manufactured in-house, and takes over revitalization and maintenance of existing installations. At the sister company Hydroampere GmbH, electrical switchgear and automation solutions are developed; the in-house control and regulation software Hydrodata remotely monitors and controls more than 50 installations. Manufacturing of piping systems from industrially produced individual parts takes place through assembly, welding and bolting in the company's own production hall at the site established in 2018 on an 11,000 m² plot. Customers come from industry, trade, municipalities, water supply, winter sports and e-mobility; Austria and Bavaria are served.
