About HYJOIN
HYJOIN GmbH, based in Munich, is a deep-tech company in the field of joining technology that is industrializing thermal direct joining (hyJOIN®) of metal and plastic without adhesive. The technology originates from an invention at the Fraunhofer Institute and was brought to market maturity together with the mid-sized company Kist + Escherich. The process comprises laser structuring of the metal surface (laserTREAT®), contactless induction heating and pressing, producing a permanent, media- and aging-resistant joint that can be released again for repair or recycling. The portfolio includes machines from the manual cell to the fully automated production line (coreJOIN®, coreSUPPLY®, varioJOIN®, giroJOIN®, atroJOIN®) as well as engineering services and job-shop production from prototypes and small series to series ramp-up. Customer industries include automotive and e-mobility, electronics, new energy, medical technology, aerospace and industrial applications.
