I.R.C. Otomotiv Makina San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (IRC Air Spring Systems) was founded in 2008 as part of the Kanık Group of Companies in Kocaeli, Turkey, and develops and manufactures a complete range of air springs for commercial vehicles as well as the rail industry. The portfolio includes rolling lobe air springs, convoluted air springs (bellows), service assembly air springs, complete air springs, cabin air springs and sleeve air springs. As one of the established air spring manufacturers, IRC produces its own rubber compound, tire-cord fabric and, in part, metal formed parts in-house. The products are supplied under the registered trademarks LUFTECH and AIRREX to global truck, bus and trailer OEMs as well as to distributors and wholesalers in the aftermarket. Around 95% of production is exported; customers are located in Europe, South Africa, the Near and Middle East, Russia, South and North America, and in more than 40 and over 50 countries respectively. In addition to its sites in Kocaeli (Başiskele and İzmit), the resilient, 100% Turkish-owned company maintains a branch office in Höchst im Odenwald, Germany.
