IAI Industrieroboter GmbH is the European sales and service subsidiary of Japan's IAI Corporation, founded in 1976 in Shizuoka and specialized in pneumatic-free automation technology. IAI Corporation has been manufacturing electric cylinders, linear drive systems and industrial robots for over 50 years and maintains a portfolio of more than 25,000 products, including mini and micro cylinders, rod cylinders, servo presses, rotary actuators, grippers, as well as cartesian robots, table robots and SCARA robots. Many products are offered not only in the standard version but also in IP-protected (IP30–IP67) or cleanroom versions; to match these, IAI supplies controllers with all common fieldbus connections. IAI Industrieroboter GmbH was founded in 1995 in Schwalbach am Taunus and, together with sales partners in 20 European countries, serves customers throughout Europe. The offering includes technical support, seminars and product training at the training center or on the customer's premises, as well as services from inquiry to commissioning. The products are used, among other things, in the automotive industry, electronics manufacturing, and the optical, medical and pharmaceutical industries.
