About IBA GmbH
IBA GmbH was founded in January 1973 and is a manufacturer of chemical and technical products for water treatment, cleaning and disinfection. At the Philippsburg production site, water care products, cleaning concentrates and disinfection products are manufactured using mixing and emulsifying processes with batch-specific production cards and filled from storage tanks into container sizes of 20 to 1000 liters as well as by tank filling. The product range includes IBAPUR water care products according to DIN 19643 (including chlorine gas according to DIN EN 937, sodium and calcium hypochlorite, active oxygen, chlorine dioxide components), IBACLEAN cleaning concentrates, filter materials such as filter carbon and activated carbon as well as analysis supplies. The company also operates its own chlorine gas storage facility, a logistics operation with delivery vehicles including an empty container return system, and a TechnikCenter for planning, installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance of dosing and disinfection systems nationwide. Further business areas include the planning of tank and dosing systems in accordance with the Water Resources Act, the IBA-Safe training program and the ALLCOA partner program for PU coatings of swimming pool surfaces. Customers come from swimming pools, thermal baths, wellness facilities, municipalities as well as commercial and industrial enterprises.

Chlorine gas
Chlorine gas with approx. 99.9% chemical purity for swimming pool water disinfection according to DIN 19607 and 19643, supplied from its own chlorine gas storage facility with its own cylinders.
Sodium hypochlorite
Liquid chlorine product for swimming pool water disinfection, stabilized against limescale deposits in dosing lines.
Calcium hypochlorite
Rapidly dissolving chlorine granulate with 70% active chlorine for continuous and supplemental chlorination, especially for soft water.
Sodium chlorite solution
Water treatment substance for producing chlorine dioxide using the two-component process, compliant with TrinkwV 2001.
Potassium permanganate
Crystalline compound for the removal of iron and manganese in water treatment.

Quality
Production is carried out with batch-specific production cards, on which all steps are documented and controlled in accordance with the quality management system in place. Retention samples are taken from each batch and kept for at least one year; water analyses are carried out in cooperation with certified laboratories.
