IBD Wickeltechnik GmbH, based in Bad Oeynhausen, has been developing and distributing components and solutions for machine-based web processing since 1992. The portfolio includes pneumatic expanding shafts and friction shafts including bearings and adapters, chucks in pneumatic, mechanical and pneumo-mechanical versions, fold-out bearings and sliding fold-out bearings, as well as pneumatic disc brakes and magnetic particle brakes. The range is complemented by web tension control, web edge guidance and sensors, unwinders in various configuration levels as well as solutions for corona surface treatment and antistatic systems. In addition to distributing its own products, IBD represents partners such as RE SPA, Ferrarini & Benelli and Elettromeccanica Bonato, for whose antistatic systems the company holds an exclusive partnership for the DACH region. Customers come from paper, film and material processing as well as the packaging and food industries, for whom custom-made products such as particularly lightweight CFRP expanding shafts for frequent roll changes are also available.
