IBEDA Sicherheitsgeräte und Gastechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company founded in 1960 and headquartered in Neustadt/Wied. Its core activities are the development, manufacture and worldwide distribution of safety devices and hose couplings to DIN EN ISO 5175 or EN 561, central gas supply systems for acetylene, oxygen, hydrogen and other technical gases, gas mixers, gas analysers, special heating burners and products for thermal powder flame spraying. Manufacturing includes components and assemblies in brass, stainless steel, steel and aluminium, including custom special systems such as gas supply panels, gas control cabinets and media supply boxes. The product range is completed by safety devices with pressure-controlled non-return valves, gas backflow preventers, gas filters, safety valves and gas preheaters. All safety devices and hose couplings undergo 100% testing – flashback testing and helium vacuum leak testing on specially developed test machines. With 80 employees, IBEDA supplies renowned welding equipment and gas manufacturers as well as industries ranging from the steel, glass and food industries to offshore and hydrogen applications worldwide.

Every safety device and hose coupling is 100% tested – with flashback testing to DIN EN ISO 5175-1 and helium vacuum leak testing on specially developed IBEDA test machines. All safety-relevant components of the gas supply systems are tested and certified by IBExU.
