About us
IBIS Industrieautomation is a medium-sized company for industrial automation and special machinery construction based in Erfurt, Thuringia. The company was founded in 1993 as an engineering office by four engineers and is still managed by one of the original founders. IBIS specializes in the development and construction of prototypes in testing and assembly automation. Its range of services includes CAD design, electrical engineering projects and PLC machine programming, system construction and optimization, commissioning at the customer's site, and after-sales service. Manufactured products include assembly machines, testing machines, sewing machines, cleaning machines, rotary indexing machines, welding machines, transport systems and robot handling solutions, complemented by in-house developments of mechanical and electronic measurement and testing instruments. Production takes place in Germany with an own machine park and a network of regional partners.
