About IBS Engineered Products

IBS Engineered Products Limited specialises in the design, supply and installation of equipment for flow control as well as flood and inundation protection. The product portfolio in the field of flow control primarily comprises penstocks and stoplogs, which are used mainly in the water and wastewater industry, in flood protection and on waterways. In the field of flood protection, the company offers demountable flood barriers, mobile SL25 barriers, flood gates, gate valves and an innovative glass-wall system for protection against river and tidal flooding. The systems are manufactured predominantly from stainless steel; glass is used for the glass-wall system. IBS Engineered Products is a wholly owned subsidiary of IBS Technics GmbH based in Thierhaupten, Germany (about one hour northwest of Munich), and, according to its own statements, can look back on almost 25 years of experience in the design, manufacture and installation of these systems, with project references worldwide. The company is represented at the Burnley (Lancashire) and Harworth (Doncaster) sites.
