About IC Biomedical
IC Biomedical LLC is a US manufacturer of cryogenic storage and transport systems for liquid nitrogen. The portfolio includes liquid Dewars, small cryogenic freezers, Vapor (Dry) Shippers, laboratory systems for vial storage, high-capacity cryo storage units (LABS, K-Series, Evolution, Revolution) as well as vacuum-jacketed and non-insulated cryogenic transfer lines made of 300-series stainless steel with custom lengths, diameters, bayonets and valves. Aluminum vessels are used for Dewars, Small Freezers, Laboratory Systems and Vapor Shippers; welded stainless steel vessels for High-Capacity Freezers and transfer equipment. The company was formed at the end of 2020 through the merger of Worthington Life Sciences (formerly Taylor-Wharton CryoScience) and International Cryogenics Inc. Since March 2021, IC Biomedical has manufactured in a purpose-built, medical-grade facility in Cartersville, Georgia (100,000 sq ft) with design, sales and service at the same location. Customer industries include biomedical research, biobanks, biotechnology, cell therapy, IVF, pharmaceuticals, research, as well as artificial insemination in animal husbandry; products are sold worldwide through a global distribution network, in Europe among others with Linde Gas Benelux.
