ICB Salz und Industriebedarf GmbH is a salt trading company founded in 1990, based in the Pritzwalk-Süd industrial estate in the Prignitz region. As a wholesaler, the company supplies customers nationwide with quality salts in various grades, qualities, grain sizes and packaging sizes. The range includes table salt for the food industry, such as food, meat processing and canning operations, salt for trade and industry, curing salt, sea salt, special salt for water softening, feed salt as well as licking blocks and de-icing salt for winter services. In addition, ICB carries industrial raw materials, chemical products, cleaning agents, smoking chips and soil conditioners. For over 28 years, the company has been a listed wholesaler of the esco company from Hanover, and also carries salt ranges from renowned manufacturers across Europe. On 01 February 2018, founder Christian Berndt transferred the operations of the sole proprietorship ICB Industriebedarf Christian Berndt e.K. to today's GmbH, which continues the company tradition at the same location.
