ICEBEAR electric GmbH, headquartered in Osnabrück, is a manufacturer of electrically powered machines for the maintenance of artificial ice surfaces. With a workforce of 30 trained and further-educated specialists, approximately 60 ice treatment machines are produced per year. The machines are made of stainless steel, feature a 3.3 m³ snow tank at an overall height of only 2.65 m and are therefore also suitable for use in confined spaces. All control functions are accessible from the driver's seat, enabling precise blade adjustments during the cut. The company was founded on 28 May 2004; its predecessor, Eisbär elektrik, was already producing electrically powered ice resurfacers in the early 1980s, giving the company almost 40 years of experience with battery-powered ice treatment machines. Continuous development as well as customer-specific problem solutions are implemented using state-of-the-art CAD software; sales and service are provided worldwide.
