About IceCirc
IceCirc GmbH is a spin-off of Forschungszentrum Jülich (Institute for Integrated Computing Architectures, ICA | PGI-4) and develops scalable cryogenic electronics for quantum computers. The company designs ultra-low-power ASICs that operate directly in the cryostat in immediate proximity to the qubits. Core competencies include cryogenic RF and mixed-signal IC design, qubit–electronics co-design, architecture-level co-simulation, and scalable multiplexing architectures for reducing the number of cables. The circuits are designed in state-of-the-art semiconductor nodes and validated for cryogenic operation. Building on more than ten years of experience in cryogenic IC design, IceCirc combines research depth with industrial semiconductor implementation, addressing control electronics as a key cost driver in building systems with up to one million qubits.
