About ID Microelektronik & Meßtechnik
ID Microelektronik & Meßtechnik develops and produces tailor-made electronics for industry and agriculture – from simple displays to complex job computers, terminals and sensors. The company accompanies customers through the entire process: from consulting, feasibility studies and concept development through electronics, hardware and embedded software development to prototype construction, series production and certification support. Housings are co-developed as aluminium constructions or injection-moulded glass-fibre-reinforced plastic with custom mountings and special IP protection classes. In addition, the company produces cable harnesses adapted to machine geometry and delivers turnkey complete systems. Series production is carried out with annual volumes ranging from double-digit to five-digit figures, supported by materials, supplier and quality management including obsolescence management. Engineering and production are located in Meine near Braunschweig, supplemented by local partners for component manufacturing; more than 50,000 systems are in use worldwide.
