About Idealworks

Idealworks develops systems for automated intralogistics in industrial plants: the under-ride AMR iw.hub with up to 1,000 kg payload, the vendor-independent fleet orchestration Idealworks OS (formerly AnyFleet) based on VDA 5050, and the simulation software iw.sim with a digital twin built on NVIDIA Omniverse. The robotics hardware is designed in-house, while assembly is outsourced to a trusted manufacturing partner; software and the fleet management platform are developed internally. The company emerged from the logistics innovation lab of the BMW Group in Munich and has been a 100% subsidiary of Agile Robots SE since 2025. Over 1,700 robots are orchestrated worldwide, in particular at the BMW Group at seven plants (over 1,000 iw.hubs) as well as at customers such as Toyota North America, Zalando, CLAAS, DRÄXLMAIER, Noerpel, Geis, MoldTecs, Shape Corp. and Purem by Eberspächer. The global headquarters is located in Munich; since April 2026, Idealworks Inc. has served as the North American headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina.
