About ideant Neurotech
ideant Neurotech is developing a modular open-hardware platform for neuroscience research. The system consists of a power supply and a base controller board with seven interchangeable core modules, including a biopotential analog front end for EEG, ECoG, EMG and LFP, an MCU module and an FPGA module, wireless modules, an NPU module for on-device inference, and an optical stimulation driver. Schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs and firmware are published under permissive open-source licenses. In addition to the platform catalog, the company offers the development and manufacture of custom modules from the concept phase through to validated hardware. Target groups are universities, research centers and laboratories in the fields of brain-computer interface, electrophysiology, deep brain stimulation, focused-ultrasound neuromodulation and optogenetics. The company is still in development; formal operations are planned for Q1 2027 at the Parc Científic UPV in Valencia.
