About Idee & Design The Art Factory GmbH
Idee & Design The Art Factory GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 1992 and based in Stainz (Styria, Austria), specialising in the development and manufacture of custom solutions in plastics processing. The company supports projects from the first sketch through CAD modelling and 3D scans to completion. Manufacturing includes 3D printing, CNC milling, surface finishing, laminating and casting techniques as well as negative and positive mould making for sculptures, prototypes and custom-made pieces. Casting materials used include concrete, PCI filler compounds, Sewacryl, epoxy resin and polyester resins; metals are also processed in mould making. With the ecological acoustic building material Soundcomb, a solution for room acoustics has also been developed. Customers include sectors such as design, interior design, art and product development from Austria and all over the world. The focus is on complex projects with freeform and organic shapes.
