About IDROBOTICA
IDROBOTICA SA is an independent Swiss developer and manufacturer of remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) with internal battery-powered propulsion. The company, with around 30 employees in Balerna, covers research, development, production, quality control, administration and sales. The product range includes the PLUTO family (PLUTO, PLUTO PLUS, PLUTO GIGAS, MULTIPLUTO) as well as MIKI, including systems for mine search and neutralization, harbour surveillance, search and recovery, and scientific deep-sea research down to 4000 m diving depth. The systems are designed for operation under extreme conditions, such as strong currents and zero visibility, and are manufactured to military requirements. The ROVs are in use worldwide and are operated by more than 12 navies as well as by universities and research institutes. The offering includes technical and logistical after-sales support over the entire system life cycle.
