About IDT
IDT Industrie- und Dichtungstechnik GmbH develops and manufactures industrial seals for critical applications in industry and plant engineering. The portfolio comprises soft material seals made of fibre, graphite, PTFE, ePTFE, mica and metal as well as metal-soft-material seals such as spiral wound, camprofile and corrugated seals, gland packing, high-performance plastics, fabric seals, expansion joints and special parts for special requirements. In plastics technology, IDT produces PTFE semi-finished products as press-sintered parts and extrudates, PTFE moulded parts to drawing or sample and composite parts made of PFA and metal; almost 20 custom compounds are available from stock. In addition, the company offers engineering services including flange calculations according to DIN EN 1591-1 and KTA 3211.2, seal testing according to DIN EN 13555 and TÜV-certified flange assembly training. With more than 200 employees at four sites in Germany, subsidiaries in Spain and China and a network of sealing experts in more than 30 countries, IDT supplies industries such as chemicals and process industry, piping and plant engineering, energy and power plant operation as well as valve manufacturing.

Quality & Certification
IDT operates an integrated management system based on ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001 (TÜV SÜD) and tests seals according to DIN EN 13555, VDI 2440/2200, ISO 15848-1 and API 622 on its own TEMES test rigs. Products carry approvals such as TA Luft, DVGW, FDA, BAM and VdTÜV.
