iDTRONIC GmbH is a technology company founded in 2003 with headquarters in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, developing RFID, access control and Wireless IoT solutions for professional applications. The portfolio comprises three business units: Professional RFID (stationary and mobile readers, embedded modules for OEM integration, RFID PDAs, tablets and scanners), Smart Access (access readers, terminals, tripod turnstiles, full-height security portals, swing gates, full-height turnstiles as well as electronic locker and door locks) and Wireless IoT (asset, temperature, vehicle, indoor and people trackers plus an IoT platform). The supported technologies are UHF (RAIN RFID), HF/NFC, LEGIC and LF. In addition to standard products, the company develops custom solutions and adapts hardware, firmware, interfaces and form factors to customer requirements – from proof of concept through prototypes to production readiness. According to the company, production of RFID and IoT hardware, turnstiles and locking cylinders takes place in Europe. Customers come from industries such as industrial manufacturing and production, logistics, fitness and wellness, healthcare, pharma and chemicals as well as EV charging.
