IFA Mess-, Regel- und Elektrotechnik GmbH, based in Neuenstadt am Kocher (Baden-Württemberg), was founded in 1969 as an engineering office for automation and is today a service company with 50 employees. Key areas are the construction of measuring, control and electrical systems, control cabinet construction for low-, low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear, electrical and control engineering installation work in the process industry, as well as planning and engineering of industrial automation technology with CAD design, in-house developed PLC programs, process visualization, software development and databases. Control cabinets are manufactured modularly or conventionally on mounting plates, in 19-inch technology, as operating consoles and as IP67 field cabinets; special and small series are part of the program. In addition, IFA offers cable routing systems, cable laying, primary measured value acquisition, cold testing and commissioning, electrical inspections, retrofit measures, cleanroom installations as well as ATEX installations. The customer base includes automotive suppliers, the food and pharmaceutical industries, chemistry and petrochemistry, water and wastewater technology, oil and gas pipelines, power plants and data transmission; installation work is also carried out on construction sites throughout Europe.
