Mechanical engineering without compromise
IFE Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH, headquartered in Waidhofen an der Ybbs, Austria, has been developing and manufacturing machines for the processing of bulk materials since 1947. The product portfolio includes vibrating feeders (vibrating conveyors, vibrating tubes, feed hoppers, spiral conveyors), screening machines (banana screen, tensioned-cloth screen TRISOMAT, waste screen, circular vibrating screen) as well as magnetic separators and environmental technology such as eddy current separators, overband magnetic separators, AEROSELECTOR and the fine sorting system IFE SORT. According to the company itself, IFE is the only manufacturer offering custom-made complete solutions in vibrating conveyor, screening and magnetic technology from a single source; more than 20,000 machines have been produced to date. The machines are dimensioned through material trials in the in-house pilot plant, tested in a test run before delivery, and supported by after-sales service including the digital product category i-STEP. Areas of application include, among others, mining, steel and smelting plants, recycling, foundries, quarrying and aggregates, as well as the cement and plastics industries. Customers in Europe, America, Asia and Australia are served through a network of 33 sales partners.

Vibrating conveyor with unbalance drive
Transport of all kinds of bulk materials, including coarse, heavy or abrasive conveyed material in heavy-duty operation.
Vibrating conveyor with electromagnetic drive
Stepless dosing of bulk materials from 0–100 % for precise feeding tasks.
Banana screen
Special screen with multiple inclined screen decks for two to three times the specific feed rate at high fines content, nominal lengths up to 11,000 mm.
TRISOMAT tensioned-cloth screen
Three-phase vibration with mechanically tensioned screen mats for moist and difficult-to-screen materials, nominal lengths up to 9,600 mm.
ENOS eddy current separator
Efficient separation of non-ferrous metals, e.g. in cable scrap, with 750–850 mT flux density at the belt surface.
Overband magnetic separator electromagnetic/permanent magnetic
Tramp iron separation for belt widths 500–2500 mm, available in ATEX version for zones 20, 21 and 22.
AEROSELECTOR
Combination of air classification, ballistic separation and screening, e.g. for compost processing with throughput up to 100 m³/h.
IFE SORT fine sorting system (air table)
Density separation of dry, hard-to-separate bulk materials using the fluidized bed system, feed capacity 4–8 m³/h (UFS 1000).
Foundry machines

Before delivery, every machine undergoes a test run for quality assurance; in the IFE pilot plant, material trials are carried out with over 200 tests per year on 47 test rigs. The digital product category i-STEP enables vibration analysis and preventive maintenance planning.
