About the IFZI
The IFZI is a training center for the postgraduate training and further education of dentists in the implantology discipline, headquartered in Nuremberg. The offering includes Implantology Modules 1 to 4, Module 5 (in-practice supervision), the IFZI Curriculum Implantology, a human specimen course, Digital Advanced Guided Surgery, and training for surgical assistance. The courses are held in German and English and are strongly practice-oriented, including phantom training and surgical courses; the curriculum concludes with a surgical course, most recently held in Seville (Spain). The IFZI sees itself as an interface between dentists, industry, science, and universities, and supports participants before, during, and after the courses on their path to independence in implantology, including start-up support modules and a trainer training program. In addition to course participants from Germany and Europe, participants from countries such as Bangladesh, China, Turkmenistan, Georgia, and Myanmar are trained; the branches IFZI Turkey and IFZI India exist, and IFZI China is planned. The location is Innere Laufer Gasse 24 in 90403 Nuremberg.
