About IGS Aerosols
IGS Aerosols GmbH is a neutral contract manufacturer (contract filler) for aerosol and non-aerosol products headquartered in Wehr in the southern Black Forest. The mid-sized family-owned B2B contract manufacturer develops, produces and fills pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical-technical products — as private-label manufacturing with more than 3,000 of its own formulations, around 1,000 of which are in the fields of human and veterinary medicine, health care and medical technology. Production includes aerosols in tinplate and aluminium cans (15 to 750 ml nominal capacity, can diameters 20 to 65 mm) as well as liquida filling into bottles, canisters, drums, IBCs, tubes and glass containers, plus BOV and pouch filling. Pharmaceutical aerosols (solution, suspension and foam sprays, gels/mousse) are manufactured under the German Medicines Act (AMG) and cGMP. In addition, IGS offers formulation development, analytics, stability studies, labelling and safety data sheet services as well as product registrations with authorities. On 30,000 m² of production and warehouse space across two plants, around 160 employees (as of 2018) realize a capacity of approximately 40 million cans per year.
