IGT Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, based in Magdeburg, is an engineering consultancy for technical building planning. Its range of services covers the planning of complete heating, plumbing, HVAC/ventilation and electrical systems across all service phases (Lph 1–9), as well as measurement, control and regulation technology (MSR) with DDC systems for heating, air-conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems. Further focal points include energy optimisation in new construction, conversion and refurbishment, the assessment of ecological comparative technologies in the thermal engineering field, project management and construction supervision, monitoring of construction execution including object documentation, and the planning of fire extinguishing systems, medical gas systems and compressed air systems. The office sees itself as an intermediary between client, architect and user and implements economical solutions for industrial and building technology. In addition to its headquarters in Magdeburg, there is a Western branch in Hanover. Completed projects include residential and administrative buildings, industrial facilities, hospitals, schools, hotels, department stores, insurance companies and banks, as well as animal housing and laboratory buildings.
