About Ihne & Tesch
Ihne & Tesch is a manufacturer of electric heating technology founded in 1932 with headquarters in Lüdenscheid. The company manufactures heating bands, nozzle heating bands, cartridge heaters, tubular heating elements, heating-cooling combinations, cast-in heaters, thermal insulation pads, temperature sensors, control devices as well as industrial furnace systems and preheating equipment. The cast-in heaters have been produced entirely in-house for four decades: following technical consulting and 3D design with SolidWorks, the tubular heating elements are manufactured, cast in the die casting and sand casting processes in the company's own foundry, CNC-machined on milling centres and grinding machines, and finished with application-specific surface coatings. Fields of application include plastics processing, injection moulding, extrusion, the packaging and food industries, die casting, tool and mould making, hot runner systems as well as chemicals, laboratory technology and HVAC technology. The corporate group maintains locations in Germany, Austria, France and the United Kingdom and supplies customers worldwide; selected heating bands and cartridge heaters are available with UL approval for the North American market.
