About Ijspeert Innovative Technologies
Ijspeert Innovative Technologies has made the diaphragm technique developed at CERN available for industrial use. The disc-based method enables the mechanical centering and clamping of objects with virtually any profile – from profile bars and hollow profiles to workpieces and shafts through to turbine blades. The company offers to sell the tools or to install the technique directly at the customer's site. The product portfolio includes Diameter, Profile, Turbine Blade, Fragile Product and Work Piece adapters as well as assembly techniques for rotor and profile assemblies, for example on rotors of electric motors. The technique was originally used in the manufacture of around 6000 superconducting correction magnets for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Reference customers include CERN, the ABB IEC LV Motors Division in Finland and Aalen University. The managing director and owner is Albert IJspeert.

History
The diaphragm technique was developed at CERN for the manufacture of the superconducting correction magnets of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and secured around 6000 superconducting magnets; Albert IJspeert subsequently industrialized the technique.
