Ikegami Electronics (Europe) GmbH is the European sales and service organisation founded in 1980 by the Japanese camera manufacturer Ikegami, which was established in Tokyo in 1946. From Neuss, the company serves the European and African market for professional camera systems, image processing and transmission technology, and monitors. The product portfolio comprises broadcast camera systems and colour monitors, video production and processing systems, OB vans for outside broadcasts, CCTV cameras for security applications, medical camera systems, and inspection and testing technology. For medical technology, Ikegami offers OEM solutions, including cameras for slit lamps, endoscopes and rigid endoscopes, as well as monitors for X-ray systems, with sensor variants from 1-chip Full HD to 4-chip 4K and custom sensor integration. Sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa are handled in part through authorised distributors and dealers; the group employs around 800 staff worldwide across three factories and nine sales and service locations.
