About the IKR Richter Group
The IKR Richter Group is an internationally active industrial service provider founded in 1999 and headquartered in Lauchhammer (Brandenburg). The company, with around 120 employees, of whom just under 70 are located at the Lauchhammer site, generates annual revenue of just under ten million euros, 25 percent of which is international. Core competencies include catalyst handling, including unloading, screening, inspection and loading of reactors – reformers, ammonia synthesis converters, hydrocracking, FCC, hydrotreating and Claus units – as well as industrial cleaning with high-pressure technology up to 3000 bar, tube cleaning, dry ice cleaning and blasting work. With its own loading technology UDL 2.8® (Uniform Density Loading), uniform catalyst filling with low pressure drop is achieved. Work is also carried out under nitrogen atmosphere in explosion-hazard areas. Customers include refineries, fertilizer manufacturers and the BASF Schwarzheide site; assignments have taken the company to Algeria, Hungary, the Middle East and Singapore, among other places. The group comprises five companies, including Rohrer Richter Technology GmbH in Schwarzheide as well as operating locations in Algeria and Hungary.

History
- 1999
Founded as Industrie- und Kommunalreinigung Richter by Bernd Richter with a 50 % stake held by a Dutch partner company.
- 2018
Peter Richter acquires Rohrer Richter Technology GmbH (RRT) in Schwarzheide with his patent settlement and takes over his father’s business; from this the IKR Richter Group emerges with five companies.
