IKS Industriekühlung Schneeberg GmbH designs, manufactures and installs complex cooling water systems for industrial process cooling. The portfolio comprises compact cooling water modules, heat exchanger modules, cooling water containers, cooling water systems, special cooling systems for cooling products and tools, as well as sand filter systems and water treatment technology. The systems consist of tank systems, pump and filter technology, control cabinet, water treatment, measuring and control valves and electrical installation; piping is done in steel, stainless steel or plastic. In addition to plant engineering and assembly, the company offers commissioning, maintenance, repair of cooling towers, cooling water analyses and hazard assessments in accordance with the 42nd BImSchV and VDI 2047/2. Customers come from industries such as mechanical engineering, glass, aerospace, automotive, metallurgical, chemical and solar industries as well as wind power; the systems are in use on all five continents. Founded in 2006, the company is based in Schneeberg in the Erzgebirge region.
