About IKV
IKV – Innovative Kunststoffveredelung GmbH is a medium-sized, family-owned company based in the Premnitz Industrial Park, approximately 70 km west of Berlin. The company produces black masterbatches, colour masterbatches (SPC and tailor-made colours) and specialty masterbatches with flame-retardant, UV-stabilising and other functional additives. In addition, IKV produces PET virgin chips with additives, ECO-PET chips (P-Eternity) and recycled polyester. The basis is an innovative technology for processing carbon black: each carbon black molecule is encapsulated with polymer, which enables uniform dispersion without dispersing aids, waxes or copolymers. The core products are suitable for fine denier and dtex polyester fibres, mono- and multifilaments, BCF carpet yarns and spunbonded nonwovens; standard types for injection moulding as well as film and sheet production are also offered. Manufacturing is carried out to customer specifications and samples, accompanied by technical consulting from the in-house technical department. The products are used by companies worldwide.
