About us
The engineering office IMA was founded in 2013 by Dipl.-Ing. Marc Achterberg in Moers, who previously worked for around 20 years as project manager, plant manager, construction manager and technical consultant. The office offers comprehensive engineering services for the assessment, maintenance planning and construction supervision of concrete components – from structural fabric testing through repair concepts and tendering to construction supervision and acceptance. The focuses are on concrete repair including chloride-contaminated concrete components, surface protection according to RiLi/ZTV, WHG coatings, sealing and injection, shotcrete technology as well as anti-graffiti measures. The structures handled include basements, cooling towers, balconies, facades, wastewater treatment plants and underground car parks; according to its own statements, the office has more than 850,000 m² of experience in the protection and maintenance of concrete structures. The office bears the RAL quality mark and is organized in the Gütegemeinschaft Planung der Instandhaltung von Betonbauwerken e.V. (quality association for planning the maintenance of concrete structures).
