Systems engineering for the wood, metal and plastics processing industries
IMA Schelling Group GmbH, headquartered in Lübbecke, is a systems and machinery manufacturer for the wood, metal and plastics processing industries. The company develops and manufactures modularized special systems and processing solutions for the entire process chain of panel-shaped materials made of wood, metal or plastic: from storage, cutting, handling and transport, through edge banding, CNC machining and drilling, to sorting and stacking. Key areas of focus are networked, fully automated lot-size-one systems, edge banding systems, as well as transport and handling equipment. In the Precision division, the group manufactures precision panel sizing saws and cut-off saws for wood, plastic, non-ferrous metal and printed circuit board materials. The product portfolio is complemented by consulting services (plant planning, MES, Digital & IoT), software solutions and a worldwide service network. The group employs 1,966 people at 18 sales, service and production companies as well as 70 sales partners worldwide and generated total revenue of €395 million in 2024.
