About iMAR Navigation

iMAR Navigation GmbH was founded in 1992 in St. Ingbert and is an owner-managed, technology-oriented company with around 85 employees, including more than 40 engineers. The company develops and manufactures inertial measurement, navigation and control systems (INS/GNSS, IMU, AHRS) as well as stabilization platforms for applications in navigation, guidance, positioning, control and surveying. The value chain covers hardware, software, firmware and algorithm development, manufacturing from one-off pieces to large series, calibration, environmental qualification (temperature, vibration, shock, EMC), integration engineering and worldwide support. On 3,900 m² of production and development space, facilities include rotation simulators, a 6-DOF hexapod motion simulator, a 40-kN vibration and shock test system, temperature chambers, a GNSS real-time simulator and a ZEISS coordinate measuring machine. Manufacturing is qualified as an aviation production organization under EASA Part 21G (DE.21G.0254); the subsidiary Spezial-EMV GmbH operates a DAkkS-accredited EMC test laboratory under ISO/IEC 17025. Customers come from aviation, marine, automotive, defense, rail, surveying, geophysics and research.
