About IMI Z&J
IMI Z&J, which emerged from Zimmermann & Jansen and today is a brand of IMI Process Automation within the IMI Group, develops and manufactures high-temperature isolation valves for the refining, petrochemical and metals industries. The product portfolio includes, among other things, FCCU flue gas isolation goggle valves, delayed coking units, ethylene transfer-line and decoking valves, isolation and double-lever valves for blast furnace and iron and steel applications as well as hydraulic power control units (HPCU). The valve solutions are designed for high temperatures, pressures and catalyst-rich as well as abrasive process environments and cover applications such as Fluid Catalytic Cracking, Delayed Coking, ethylene production, dehydrogenation, IsoSiv and TIP. Engineering experts at the technology centre develop customised solutions, complemented by application and system consulting as well as servicing and spare parts support. Manufacturing takes place at the Düren site (Germany); another facility exists in Houston (USA). The products are used worldwide in the energy and process industries.
