Imkerei Bogena GbR

About Imkerei Bogena

Imkerei Bogena GbR is a family-run business in Aurich-Rahe in East Frisia, led by Rudolf and Karin Bogena since 2009. Starting with four bee colonies, the apiary has grown steadily since then and produces various regional honey varieties in its own production. In addition to honey, the product range includes beehive products such as propolis solutions as well as skin care and cleaning products based on beeswax, propolis and honey. In 2017, an aronia plantation was established that serves the bees as an additional food source while also ensuring the pollination of the aronia plants; from it, products such as aronia juice, coastal honey with aronia and aronia fruit spread are made. Furthermore, the company develops new products together with regional partners such as aronia mustard and honey ice cream and, on request, assembles individual gift sets. Distribution takes place via the company's own retail location in Aurich-Rahe.
