About immuG
immuG Rohr + Schlauch GmbH is a medium-sized manufacturer of solid rubber pipe systems, technical rubber hoses and parts for plant engineering, based in Walbeck, Saxony-Anhalt. Production takes place exclusively at the Walbeck site; the company employs 49 staff. Core products are the patented, reinforced rubber pipe system GUR with straight pipes, bends, branches, reducers and expansion joints as well as the Expert series of industrial rubber hoses for suction, pressure and vacuum applications. Manufacturing is carried out by vulcanisation of custom rubber compounds based on NR-SBR, EPDM, CR and NBR, with reinforcements made of polyester cord, aramid fabric and steel wire spirals. Product lengths of up to 40 m (cable protection hoses) and 12 m (GUR delivery length) are documented. Customers come from the sand and gravel industry, ore and steel industries, mining, cement, paper and pulp, power plants, chemicals, municipal engineering and construction. Initiated by the Allerthal-Werke founded in 1899 and continued as immuG since the re-establishment in 2002, the company has been led by RIK Holding since 2017. Reference customers include, among others, VA Erzberg, Quarzwerke and Wolff + Mueller Quarzsande.

Materials & Processes
Natural rubber / Styrene-butadiene rubber
Highly elastic, abrasion-resistant core and cover for abrasive media.
Ethylene-propylene-diene rubber
Very good ozone and weather resistance, suitable for steam and chemicals up to +120°C.
Chloroprene rubber
Flame-retardant, very good UV and weather resistance; typically used as cover.
Acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber
Very good oil and fuel resistance, used as core.
GUR rubber pipe system
Patented solid rubber pipe system with metallic reinforcement elements for piping entire plants.
Polyester cord reinforcement
Reinforcement material for pressure and suction hoses.
Aramid fabric
Reinforcement material for high-pressure hoses.
Steel wire spiral
Reinforcement for highly flexible and vacuum-proof hose constructions.
Glass fabric insert
Fire protection version of the cable protection hose.
Vulcanisation
Precisely shaped bends and moulded parts are vulcanised and thereby achieve higher wear resistance than bent hoses.
