IMON GmbH, based in Fritzlar-Züschen in Hesse, is a certified welding company for piping construction, plant engineering, pipe insulation and steel construction with around 30 employees. The company supplies and installs complete steam and condensate systems, energy and product lines, heating plants, boiler systems and water treatment plants – including planning, design, calculation and documentation. In its own production halls, assemblies, vessels, containment trays and plant components are manufactured from carbon steels, chromium-nickel steels (stainless steel), unalloyed and alloyed sheet metal as well as plastics. A focus is on double-walled piping systems for the food industry, such as temperature-controlled lines for liquid chocolate, beer lines for breweries and juice filling systems. Further industries include the paper, automotive and textile industries, energy supply, environmental technology and municipal utilities. As a TÜV-approved company under §19 WHG (Water Resources Act), IMON carries out work on systems handling water-hazardous substances and operates throughout Germany and Europe, most recently also in Russia.

Quality and approvals
As a certified welding company, only TÜV-certified welders (per DIN 9606-1-6) work on systems subject to acceptance testing; all weld seams are logged and all systems are fully documented. The qualification of the certified welding foremen is re-verified every two years.
