About IMPEX HighTech
For over 25 years, IMPEX HighTech GmbH has been a partner for industry and science in the field of high-precision optics, crystals and lasers. The core business is the precision machining of synthetic sapphire, from which optics, domes, high-pressure components, tubes and crucibles are manufactured. In addition, the company produces lenses, prisms, mirrors and beam splitters made from fluorides, selenides, garnets, glasses and other UV and IR materials – as one-off pieces and in series. At the Münster site, passively Q-switched pulse lasers and specialized 3 µm lasers with extremely short pulses are also developed, custom-tailored for medical and scientific applications. Production takes place in the company's own production facility in Yerevan (Armenia). The components are used worldwide in research, medical technology, aerospace and mechanical engineering; the company is involved in international top projects such as VIRGO, KAGRA and the Einstein Telescope.
