About IMRIS
IMRIS, Deerfield Imaging develops and installs intraoperative MRI systems specifically designed for imaging during neurosurgical procedures. The IMRIS Surgical Theatre moves the MRI on a ceiling-mounted rail system between a diagnostic room and adjacent operating rooms, bringing the imaging directly to the patient without the need to reposition the patient or disconnect anesthesia. The InVision Operating Suite is available in two- or three-room configurations and can integrate a Siemens 3T Vida MRI with a superconducting magnet. In addition to design, engineering and program management, the company manufactures its own head fixation devices, imaging coils and OR tables for this field of application. Customers include more than 100 hospitals worldwide, among them Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins and Cleveland Clinic.
