About Inbatec
Inbatec GmbH is a plant manufacturer specialized in battery production, headquartered in Hagen. Founded in 2001 by four engineers, the company designs and manufactures plants for the formation of lead-acid batteries for automotive and industrial applications, in particular formation systems with acid circulation throughout the entire formation time. The product range includes, in addition to the Industrial Module and Automotive Module formation systems, acid mixing plants (e.g. mixing capacity 6 m³/h at ±0.001 kg/L from 98% sulfuric acid and demineralized water), acid cooling plants, acid purification and acid recycling, acid tanks and process vessels, tanker truck unloading stations, exhaust air technology as well as pump and piping systems made of corrosion-resistant plastic. The automation technology includes control cabinet construction, PLC programming and visualization systems. Plants are installed and commissioned by the company's own personnel; a worldwide service network supports customers. Since 2001, around 400 plants have been installed in more than 26 countries, including over 200 Industrial Modules (320 cells per cycle). Customers include manufacturers of starter and industrial batteries. The company is managed by Dipl.-Ing. Norbert Ahnemann and Dipl.-Ing. Christian Papmahl.
