About Induktor

Induktor GmbH Ringkernbauelemente is an owner-managed company based in Munich that has been developing and manufacturing custom toroidal transformers and inductors for over 40 years. The components include single-phase and three-phase toroidal transformers with power ratings from 1 VA to 10 kVA (single-phase) or up to 30 kVA (three-phase), frequencies from 10 Hz to 500 kHz, output voltages up to 2,500 VAC, high-current designs up to 250 A and protection classes up to IP65. Unit weights range from 1 gram to 30 kilograms. Development, consulting and complete order processing take place at the Munich site, while production takes place at the manufacturing facilities in Hungary and Indonesia. The products are manufactured according to VDE0570-1, EN 61558-1 and UL/CSA and are used, among other applications, in mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology, high-end audio, solar and photovoltaic technology, and electromobility. Manufacturing is possible from a quantity of 1, including prototype and first-article production as well as special versions such as multiple secondary windings, potting, thermal protection, fuses and magnetic shielding.
