About IEI
The Industrial & Engineering Inspection Company of Iran (IEI) was founded in 1983 and has been operating in international trade for over four decades as the first Iranian inspection company with an independent national identity. The company offers technical inspection and conformity assessment (Vendor Inspection, Pre-Shipment Inspection, Manufacturing Supervision), non-destructive testing (NDT) with certification, HSE services such as safety audits, fire risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and emergency planning, as well as training in technical inspection, NDT, Process Safety, and Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). IEI supervises imported and exported goods, products, raw materials, and equipment in industries such as Oil, Gas and Petrochemistry, Steel, Energy, Rail Transport, Pharma, Automotive, and Shipping. With a network of approximately 1,600 specialists, including about 1,000 inspectors globally, over 1.5 million inspection missions have been carried out in nearly 60 countries. The headquarters is located on Valiasr Street in Tehran; branches and representatives exist in Germany,Turkey, the UAE, China, Japan, Brazil, and Russia, among others.
