About IHU Unna
Industrieofen- & Härtereizubehör GmbH Unna (IHU) has been active in the field of heat treatment since 1993 and is a manufacturer of complete furnace systems for carburizing, hardening, annealing, gas nitriding and air circulation. The portfolio covers pit furnaces, bell furnaces, chamber furnaces and continuous furnaces in electrically or gas-heated versions, as well as an extensive range of system accessories such as annealing retorts, salt bath crucibles, quench tanks, washing machines and convection discs. Almost all components are manufactured in-house, as welded or cast constructions and, depending on customer requirements, in various materials up to titanium and Inconel. Systems are individually planned, manufactured, installed and commissioned; in addition, IHU offers repairs, conversions, maintenance and spare parts also for third-party equipment. Customers come from wind energy, the automotive industry, aerospace, and commercial and in-house heat treatment shops. Around 30 employees work at the Unna site in North Rhine-Westphalia on approximately 4400 m² of operating space.
